The end of the motorcycle season in Gniezno: our trike in the parade

Gniezno bid farewell to the motorcycle season. Several hundred motorcycles gathered on the Market Square and at noon set off in a cavalcade through the city. Also taking part in the parade was a trike from the Smuszkiewicz fleet, a three-wheeled motorcycle that caught the eye along the entire route.

Our trike joined the column and rode through the streets of Gniezno together with hundreds of other machines. Taking part in an event like this shows that for us motoring is not only work but also a passion we share with the local community of two-wheeler enthusiasts.

The parade through Gniezno

Motorcyclists began arriving at the Gniezno Market Square in the morning, and at 12:00 the column set off. The route led along Warszawska, Kościuszki, Dworcowa, Pod Trzema Mostami and Słoneczna streets, among others, to the finish at the former military base, next to the Museum of Technical Heritage. Attractions, competitions and refreshments awaited participants and residents there.

The event was organised by the ClassiC MC Poland Gniezno club. Rallies like this are an opportunity for two-wheeler enthusiasts from the region and further afield to meet. Temporary traffic disruptions were possible in the city centre during the ride.

Smuszkiewicz is a company closely tied to Gniezno and the region. This is where our vehicle yards are, and from here we serve customers from all over Europe. Local events, sporting, cultural and automotive, build the city's identity and bring residents together, which is why we enjoy writing about them. We are glad that Gniezno has such an active motorcycle community.

Road safety all year round

The end of the motorcycle season is a good moment to remind everyone about mutual understanding between all road users: truck drivers, car drivers and motorcyclists. A technically sound vehicle is the basis of safety, whether we are talking about a two-wheeler or a rig weighing tens of tonnes. We apply the same principle ourselves: every vehicle that arrives at our yard is thoroughly checked and prepared for work beforehand.
